Amanda Seyfried called out an Instagram influencer for blocking her and a friend, and it turns out she was referring to Arielle Noa Charnas, who recently posted a bikini photo celebrating her body after having two kids that some found "tone deaf."
On Tuesday, Seyfried posted a screenshot of a comment that her friend, who she chose to keep anonymous, left under an unidentified influencer's photo.
Though Seyfried did not specifically name her friend or the influencer, writer Sophie Flack identified herself as the commenter in an Instagram story, which was captured in screenshots shared by the Daily Mail. Her comment under Charnas' photo matches the one Seyfried posted, and she posted a screenshot to show that Charnas had blocked her.
"If you don't acknowledge how your wealth made your workouts-body possible, you're just perpetuating the patriarchal notion that mothers should 'bounce back' after childbirth," Seyfried's friend wrote, according to the screenshotted comment. "Why not use your platform to encourage more women to be ambitious business women, or say, run for office, or maybe, sheesh I don't know, do something to help the kids literally dying in cages?"
Seyfried wrote in the caption of her post that the 'semi-influencer' had blocked both her and her friend.
She went on to say that "there are gray areas everywhere," and asked the "semi-influencer" to think twice about what she posts on Instagram.
Charnas seemed to take notice of Seyfried's message.

Belmont freshman and rocker Bret Michaels' daughter Raine Michaels will appear in the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in May. “There are only 25 girls in the magazine, which is crazy,” said Michaels. “And I’m going to be one.”
Michaels will be flown out to an undisclosed location in mid-February for the swimsuit photo shoot. But it was a long few months that led up to her selection. Her first step was to submit an Instagram video to the Sports Illustrated Swim Search over the summer.
Michaels took 79 videos of herself, trying to find the perfect one. It wasn’t until her phone was at one percent that she decided to take one more. “Feeling a bit of uncertainty, she decided to submit that last video anyway. She thought, “we’ll see where it goes, and if no one sees it then, whatever.”
The next day, she woke up to find her picture reposted on the official Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Instagram. A week later, Michaels was invited to Miami, where she took part in the second step of the audition process, an interview with her idol Kate Upton. “We had to do an interview with her for for like two minutes. Which is crazy because she’s my role model. I was freaking out,” said Michaels.
Michaels was one of 60 contestants in Miami. Sports Illustrated editors and veteran models narrowed those 60 down to 16 that same day. “I was like the 11th girl that got called,” Michaels said. “I thought, there was no way I was going to get called now.”
In November, Sports Illustrated flew the 16 out to Miami again for a photo shoot and another round of interviews. It wasn’t until January that the six finalists would receive Skype calls congratulating them on making the magazine.
Michaels received the highly-anticipated call and secured her place. “I honestly can’t remember what they said. I was so nervous,” Michaels said.
Though Michaels is living out her dream, she is still a full-time student. She realizes trying to balance school and modeling is going to be a struggle in the next few months. “I let my teachers know in advance," said Michaels. “Obviously I’m here to be a student, but this is what I really want to do.”
She doesn’t plan on dropping out, but knows if things start to pile up she’ll have to make a tough decision. “It all depends on how everything turns out. I’m really going to think about it this summer,” said Michaels.

Hundreds of bikini models from all over the world were interviewed and photographed for the Around Town Productions film Bikini Weapon of Choice released in 2010.
Each had their own reason why the bikini was their weapon of choice. Director Bob Anderson said, "We discovered in making the film the power of the bikini. We traced the history of the bikini and along the way uncovered why this provocative piece of clothing has been raising eyebrows for nearly sixty years."
These bikini models Sarah Ponce (Top photo), Trisha Tompkins, Cassandra Murray (Bottom photo) and Jade Burgos-Evans are featured in the film along with over 100 models and photographers.
"Pure entertainment from start to finish, finally a film that gives us inside information on why the bikini is so magical," says Catherine Cross.

The 58-years-old Connecticut gym owner and mother of two adult daughters now wants her place among modeling elite by becoming the oldest woman to appear in Sports Illustrated’s storied swimsuit issue.
“Whether I’m chosen or not, I’m doing this as another way to share who I am and encourage others along the way that it’s not too late to try something new,” Harrison-Bauer told the newspaper. “I’m 58, and I’ve never felt so confident in myself.”
A determined Harrison-Bauer who runs Jodifit, a boutique fitness studio in Branford took that self-assured approach earlier this week to Miami, where she’ll attend a casting call at the W South Beach hotel Friday in hopes of outshining dozens of other models, many of whom will be decades younger than herself.
“I saw there were no specific age categories,” she told the newspaper. “That was my loophole to go for it.”
The two-time World Fitness America and World Fitness Universe champion credits 10 hours a week of resistance training, weightlifting and cardio for her toned figure as she approaches her 60s. The 22-year-old model married the 24-year-old singer in a private civil ceremony in New York in September 2018, almost a decade after first being introduced by Baldwin's father, actor Stephen Baldwin.
While the pair have appeared in high spirits since their nuptials, being featured together on the widely-discussed cover of the March issue of US Vogue, Baldwin has admitted that acclimatising to married life has been a challenge at times.
"It's definitely scary to be this young and be married, it's a scary thing," she said while talking on Zaza World Radio on Apple Music alongside fellow model and friend Kendall Jenner.
"But it's also the person that I've literally been in love with for so many years, so that's the best part about it. I feel like he's my best friend and we just get to do life together forever now."

The sunny and gracious Hidden Potential star is gearing up for the arrival of her first child with husband, Brett Roth and making sure she gets some much needed relaxation ahead of their bundle’s arrival. In a post shared to her Instagram on Friday from the Parker Palm Springs in California, Roth shared a photo of herself in a two-piece bathing suit, admitting she was “so excited” to chill for a bit as part of an event for Discovery-HGTV.
“THE BUMP!” Roth began her caption, sprinkled with emojis like, a palm tree to sun. “Hey girl, hey! and I are in Palm Springs for a event and little much needed relaxation. A few hours of sunshine made a great excuse to snap a photo in a bathing suit.”
She concluded her message with a string of hashtags, including how she was at 19 weeks in her pregnancy and “so excited.”
At the end of November, Roth shared with fans and followers that she was expecting a baby girl in a gender reveal party posted to her Instagram. In a 53-second video celebrating the occasion featuring highlights from their colorful party, Roth was filmed with her husband and a number of their closest friends and family, unveiling the results by taking a hammer to a tiny, little playhouse painted in blue and pink that would emit a bright, colored mist indicative of the sex.
“So if you haven’t heard yet, we’re having a baby and today is the gender reveal party, which means we’re finding out if it’s a boy or a girl,” Roth said in the IG video she posted. “We’re super excited, we’ve been together since 2005, and having a baby after all these years later is amazing.”

She says she was excited to only have to act in The Favourite. The Oscar winner explained that for years, she's not only had to act in many of her starring roles, but also had to be a heavy collaborator to make them better.
Stone opened up about this when she and "The Favourite" director Yorgos Lanthimos ("The Lobster," "Killing of a Scared Deer") sat down with Business Insider in New York City earlier this month.
The movie - which follows two cousins who go to extreme lengths to top the other and court favor with Queen Anne in the early 18th century - is something Lanthimos had been developing alongside screenwriter Tony McNamara for seven years.
The script made it to Stone in 2015 (she plays one of the cousins opposite Rachel Weisz), and she could immediately tell from the first read that she wanted to get involved.
What does she do to stay in bikini shape? She does not do fade diets and she exercise. She likes Rock and has always said that she likes to be outdoors as much as possible while she's working out. One of her favorite things to do is go rock-climbing at the Chelsea piers in New York.
She also likes Pilates. Stone is frequently spotted going in and out of a studio in El Lay (she's also a fan of weight-training!).
And she likes Walking. When Stone is in Hollywood and can't go indoor or outdoor rock-climbing, she takes long walks or jogs to get herself moving and the blood flowing.
